“Lone Ranger” Home
The famous “Lone Ranger”, Clayton Moore, built and lived in a home in Encino, California. After his passing, the rambling Ranch-Style, open-plan home was acquired by Paula Freund and her family.
Paula Freund and her family entrusted the care and sensitivity of Bray Architects to update and redesign the kitchen and surrounding rooms along with adding on a compatible large family-living area with related bathrooms over a new subterranean multi-car garage, all compatible with the design of the original home. Bray Architects honored the history of the original home by preserving the character, nature, feeling, and design elements appreciated by Clayton Moore.
Ms. Freund, now a historical preservationist, has since moved to Petaluma, California; while her two sons, a doctor and financier, continue to live in their much-loved Encino, “Lone Ranger” home.
