Mary Tyler Moore and Her Home
Mary Tyler Moore owned many homes throughout her lifetime. She chose to live in
Encino, California and raise her family. She chose Bray Architects to design her new home.
Working closely with her, she proved she was a thoughtful, imaginative and caring client. She elevated her role in the process
s to being a valuable team member. The casual Colonial style which she chose for us to design for her has endured throughout her many years as owner; and has continued throughout the years. She raised her children in the home we designed with her; she enjoyed the creative relationship we nurtured with her, enough to later request that we even design a highly imaginative treehouse for her children in the beautifully landscaped back yard.
The home was eventually sold to Mr. and Mrs. William Rutter, the inspired legal mind and publisher of The Rutter Reports,
which informs those in the legal profession of vitally current legal events. Mr. and Mrs. Rutter chose to retain Bray Architects to create an extensive new addition to the original home for their family.
