Roger Winston Bray, Architect, AIA, NCARB, President of Bray Architects, has had the privilege of serving as Architect Board Member, on the Board of Directors of The Ennis House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, Architect, located in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles, California.
Of particular note, the Ennis House was designed by Architect Frank Lloyd Wright with his son, Architect Lloyd Wright, supervising the constuction of the project; and working with associate architects Rudolph Schindler and Richard Neutra; all of whom have subsequently gained international fame for their own architectural projects.
The Board of Directors of the Ennis House, with the input of Roger Winston Bray, AIA, chose to extensively renovate the building structure; restore and update the Mayan-style concrete steel reinforced construction system; while restoring the entire building and detailed aesthetic finishes.
The entirety of the building along with it’s dramatic site overlooking the City of Los Angeles, California, is unique.
Bray Architects has designed a home up the street from the Ennis House; and Roger Winston Bray, Architect, AIA, NCARB, has renovated another Frank Lloyd Wright home on Pine Tree Place, in the Hollywood Hills, of Los Angeles, California for Hollywood talent agent Harold Gefsky.
